Most of the middle colony economies were based on farming, because:

1) The weather conditions (being neither too hot, nor too cold), made it suitable to start farms (usually of wheat and the like).

2) Soil conditions of the Middle Colonies, while they are not as good as those found in the south, allows for ordinary food to be grown, & were good in nutrients.

North Korea’s authoritarian political and economical policies result in a society distinguished by low or high use of personal t
Alinara [238K]

The correct answer is - low use of personal technology.

The people of North Korea do not have access to pretty much any technology that is used in most of the countries in the world, thus they have a very low to none usage of personal technology. This makes them far behind when it comes to a comparison with most of the societies, and the people are clueless when it comes to technological items that we take for granted and use them all the time. The reason why the people in North Korea do not have access to the technological advancements and gadgets is because the government is restricting them in order to have better control of them, as without the technology they are not aware what happens in the world, thus remain obedient.
