Correct answer choice for question 1 is :

A) The fugitive slave act was passed

Explanation:

Senator Henry Clay introduced a set of recommendations on January 29, 1850, in an effort to inquire a settlement and avoid a deadlock among North and South. As part of the agreement of 1850, the Fugitive Slave Act was revised and the captive business in Washington, D.C., was eliminated.

Correct answer choice for question 2 is :

A) Southern Plantations Owners

Explanation:

The Act was one of the most provocative parts of the 1850 agreement and increased North fears of a captive potential conspiracy. It claimed that all escaped captives, upon capture, be delivered to their bosses and that leaders and residents of free states had to agree. Abolitionists nicknamed it the Bloodhound Law for the dogs that were used to hunt down fugitive captives.

Correct answer choice for question 3 is :

A) South Carolina

Explanation:

Intimidations and hopes to leave from the United States, or debates supporting withdrawal, have been a focus of the country's politics nearly since its origin. Some have debated for secession as a legal right and others as from a fundamental right of change. In Texas v. White, the United States Supreme Court ruled single secession illegal, while explaining that revolution or approval of the States could lead to a successful secession.

The fugitive slave act was passed (a) as part of the compromise in 1850. The compromise was reached as an attempt to avert a crisis between North and South America. The issue of slavery had caused deep divisions between the North and South of America. The Fugitive Slave Act was a means of forcing the return of escaped slaves to their owners; even if the slaves had escaped to other states.
The Southern Plantations Owners (a) group supported The Fugitive Slave Act.

South Carolina (a) was the first state to secede.

a. Briefly explain ONE common trait in the policies of TWO of these European nations toward Native Americans: - England - France
Sphinxa [80]
The common trait was the intention to Christianize the Indians - that is to convert them to the Christian religion. The Spaniards were more brutal in this, often Christianizing by force, but the English also made strong attempts to convert the Indians.

Another common trait was the lack of interest in the local languages with the exception of priests or monks , who did it to be able to preach about Christianity to the natives.

How did WW1 change the way Europeans vowed their own civilization? (Thesis statement and examples if possible). Thanks!
nignag [31]
The war changed the economical balance of the world, leaving European countries deep in debt and making the U.S. the leading industrial power and creditor in the world.

The First World War destroyed empires, created numerous new nation-states, encouraged independence movements in Europe’s colonies, forced the United States to become a world power and led directly to Soviet communism and the rise of Hitler. Diplomatic alliances and promises made during the First World War, especially in the Middle East, also came back to haunt Europeans a century later. The balance of power approach to international relations was broken but not shattered. It took the Second World War to bring about sufficient political forces to embark on a revolutionary new approach to inter-state relations.

Hopefully this helps
