Answer:

Because they wanted to combat the communist influence in Asia.

Explanation:

Communism and Capitalism were enemies after World War II. Allies during the war times, the conflicts aftermatch was the split of Europe (and, somehow, the world itself) into two influence zones, supported by the United States and the Soviet Union. In the case of the soviets, it's the zone of influence was Eastern Europe, and part of Asia, which includes China (which became a Communist regime in 1949), the Korean peninsula, and Vietnam. It was an enormous influence, and the Americans were afraid that, once the Soviet Union owning all these countries, they could be stronger than the United States, and because of that, win the war (the Cold War, in this case). In the case of Vietnam, it was split into two territories, just like the entire world if we say so. In the north, the communist. In the south, the capitalist. But what afraid America most it was that South Vietnam wanted to be united with the north part, creating a communist country. The United States couldn't allow this, and then, they started the interference on the territory. However, the main reason to do that is that if they succeed in the fight, it was an open road to the Korean peninsula, and to create a capitalist influence zone there.

zaharov [31]

Answer:

According to Mead's theory, he is in the play stage.

Explanation:

Mead centered on the idea that an individual begins to socialize with the world through game and play. This is how he/she beings to develop an understanding of the world and his/her surroundings.

The play stage is the first one and it occurs when the child acts as someone else, as a role model and is centering him/herself within society with this particular role. It is role-playing for the child.

In this case, we can see Tory dresses up as Batman and pretends to save Gotham City; he is in the play stage by carrying out the role play and establishing his role within society through the game and his imagination.

Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

D. studying cultural differences

Explanation:

Howard Gardner is well known for his famous work with multiple intelligences.

Howard Earl Gardner is a developmental psychologist. Gardner has done many research work on multiple intelligence. According to him, intelligence is greater than IQ because when productivity is not there, the IQ is not equated to the intelligence.

Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligence says that people in order to have all the abilities and talents in the world, they does not have only intellectual capacity, but have a list of intelligence which includes interpersonal, musical, linguistic intelligences and spatial-visual.

For this, Gardner did several studies and gathered evidences from many studies including effects of brain damage on intelligence, researching developmental influences and also studying prodigies.

Thus Gardner for his theory of multiple intelligences did not gathered evidence from --

D. studying cultural differences

Juan easily taught his cat to jump through a hoop for the reward of food, but could not get his cat to fetch a ball and return t
Aliun [14]

Answer:

Instinctive drift

Explanation:

Instinctive drift is a phenomenon that occurs when an animal reverts back to instinctual behaviour, instead of continuing engaing in learned, or trained behaviour.

In this case, the cat's trained behaviour is being hampered by instinctive drift because while it can easily follow Juan's instructions when jumping a food (aided by the great incentive of getting food), it cannot help chasing the ball more than once, because rolling a ball to catch it is a highly instinctual behaviour that the cat practically cannot control.
