I'm having trouble finding out if 8.24 for example is greater than, less than, or equal to 8.250

The answer is that 8.24 is greater than 8.250 because 24 is in the hundredths and 250 is in the thousandths so meaning that 8.24 is greater. hope this helps :D

It would be less than because the number in the hundredths place is greater than four. When you look at 8.250 in this problem you can automatically change it to 8.25 because it is just extra to have that zero there. Now you can easily find the answer by compering them side by side. 8.24 < 8.25
