Read the passage and answer the question that follows. from Gulliver's Travels, by Jonathan Swift My gentleness and good behavio

ur had gained so far on the emperor and his court, and indeed upon the army and people in general, that I began to conceive hopes of getting my liberty in a short time. I took all possible methods to cultivate this favourable disposition. The natives came, by degrees, to be less apprehensive of any danger from me. I would sometimes lie down, and let five or six of them dance on my hand; and at last the boys and girls would venture to come and play at hide-and-seek in my hair. I had now made a good progress in understanding and speaking the language. The emperor had a mind one day to entertain me with several of the country shows, wherein they exceed all nations I have known, both for dexterity and magnificence. I was diverted with none so much as that of the rope-dancers, performed upon a slender white thread, extended about two feet, and twelve inches from the ground. Upon which I shall desire liberty, with the reader's patience, to enlarge a little. Which point of view is used in this passage? (5 points)

This excerpt is first person point of view. We know this because of the personal pronouns that are used throughout it (I, me, my, etc.). If it was second or third person, pronouns like he, she, it, they, etc. would be used in place of the personal ones. We would also see a slightly different version of the scene.

Since this is first person, it is told from the giant's perspective. If it was told from a different point of view, it would most likely be a narrator that is not the giant and just a by-stander.

How has televison changed from 1992 to Now?
Mamont248 [21]
For starters the look of tv has changed (as shown in the 2 pics).
It used to be as thick as about a ruler and a half and now they can be as thin as a piece of paper. Secondly quality. The video quality was different by much. Old television had very static like videos and now they are very smooth and fine cut. Lastly the amount of channels. Back then there werent as many channels as there are now, Especially of children's TV. Back then there was like.... 1 day a week with childerens shows.

Can someone help me with writing an
pshichka [43]

Answer:

obituary

Explanation:

your first sentence of obituary has to start with a significant event or attributes of the deceased, to note that the person's impact on the world around them, and acknowledge the the family members or friends that they held dear.

Ex.

The man name Gatsby was a party animal who ended up dying by another, he had changed his neighbor and ex-lover life with his presence.

An obituary be an interesting and compelling - especially if it focuses more on the life lived in on the notice of the death. for many people, their obituary maybe just about the only thing that is ever written about them. The obituary can be the defining statement about the person for the family, friends, and community. An obituary can be read now, and saved for generations. All the more reason to make it lively and significant. Make sure you always include full name or a nickname of the deceased if they had any nickname.
