Muckrakers gathered evidence, personal stories, and things that the person says to contradict themselves and develops them in to a simple statement and tells the public to not support them because this is what they are doing/have done. Isa Tarbell release her book in 1904 about John D. Rockefeller. The book was named: "The History of Standard Oil" Which let out some dark secrets.
