1.28 = 128 * 10^-2

128 * (1/10^2)

128 / 10^2

128 / 100

1.28

Because, it's literally the same thing mathematically if you worked it out. Though, as I'm sure you're aware, it's just a much shorter and cleaner way of writing out large or small numbers.

The easy way to do this question is that if we move the point to right we take the ten’s power with negative sign and when we move point to left we tak ten’s power with positive number but the numbers we move taken as power

Further Explanation:

For Example:

You will understand all this procedure by following these simple steps that are as follows:

Suppose we have a number 5.2244

If we write it in notation form then we take its ten’s power to the 4 times with negative sign because we move the point to the right side

Solution:

Sol.

= 5 . 2 2 4 4

= 5 2 2 4 4 x 10 ^ -4.

2nd example:

If we have a number 8965.77

Sol.

= 8 9 6 5 . 7 7

= 8 . 9 6 5 7 7 x 10 ^ 3

Same as it I asked you that if we move towars left then we take the power of ten as positive. Hope you understand my opinion. I made it as easy as I can hope you understand all the topic.

Aiyanah made 12 withdrawals of $175.25 each from her bank account. Then she made 17 deposits of $235.66 to her same account that
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

The overall change is $1903.22

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us approach this problem step wise

1.Firstly let us calculate all 12 withdrawal of $175.25

12*$175.25= $2103

2. Let us calculate all the deposits made 17* $235.66 = $4006.22

With these figures we can calculate the overall changes as

= $4006.22-$2103= $1903.22

The side of a square measures (3x − 6) units. Part A: What is the expression that represents the area of the square? Show your w
liubo4ka [24]

A. The area of a square is given as:

A = s^2

Where s is a measure of a side of a square. s = (2 x – 5) therefore,

A = (2 x – 5)^2

Expanding,

A = 4 x^2 – 20 x + 25

B. The degree of a polynomial is the highest exponent of the variable x, in this case 2. Therefore the expression obtained in part A is of 2nd degree.

Furthermore, polynomials are classified according to the number of terms in the expression. There are 3 terms in the expression therefore it is classified as a trinomial.

<span>C. The closure property demonstrates that during multiplication or division, the coefficients and power of the variables are affected while during multiplication or division, only the coefficients are affected while the power remain the same.</span>

C=(7,-4) and D= (-8,5) CD=?
prisoha [69]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

x_{1}=7 \ ; y_{1} = -4\\\\x_{2} = -8 \ ; y_{2}=5\\\\CD = \sqrt{(-8-7)^{2}+(5-[-4])^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{(-15)^{2}+(5+4)^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{225+(9)^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{225+81}\\\\=\sqrt{306}\\\\=\sqrt{3*3*2*17}\\\\=3\sqrt{34}

Distance = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^{2}-(y_{2}-y_{1})^{2}}
