Answer:

Sri Lanka, Rwanda

Explanation:

  • The ethnic conflicts arise from the same ethnic groups that compete for the same goals. And the violent conflicts are due to the political and the social unrest. And the origin of the colonial policy in these two stats is the enslavement and the exploitation through the military and takes place in the economically less developed nations of the world.

A long sand body more or less parallel with a shoreline but separated from it by a lagoon is a ____.
Setler79 [48]

A long sand body more or less parallel with a shoreline but separated from it by a lagoon is a  barrier island.

Barrier island is form as waves repeatedly deposit sediment parallel to the shoreline. As wind and waves shift according to weather patterns and local geographic features, these islands constantly move, erode, and grow. They can even disappear entirely.

These islands are critical to protecting coastal communities and ecosystems from extreme weather. Beach dunes and grasses on barrier islands absorb wave energy before the wave hits the mainland. This generally means smaller storm surge and less flooding on the coast/ shoreline.

Review the following map and answer questions 31 through 34.
balu736 [363]

Answer:

A. 3180

Explanation:

Point X has an elevation of approximately 3180 meters. We can make this estimate by looking at the contour lines. The two basic contour lines bellow and above point X are with values of 3000 and 3250. Since point x is between these two, it means that it is higher than 3000 meters, but lower than 3250 meters. we see that from the basic contour line at 3000 meters, to the basic contour line at 3250 meters there's fine contour lines, thus each contour line represents 50 meters of elevation. Pint X is located between the third and fourth contour line above 3000 meters, thus it is between 3150 and 3200 meters, and since it is in the middle between them, it is safe to assume that it has an approximate elevation of 3180 meters.
