Given:
2 shapes: rectangle (tray) and circle (cake tin)

We need to find the area of each shape.

We need to convert mm to cm. 1mm = 0.1cm
600mm x 0.1cm/1mm = 60cm
500mm x 0.1cm/1mm = 50cm

Area of the Tray = 60cm * 50cm = 3,000cm²

Area of the cake tin = π r²
r = d/2 = 25/2 = 12.5cm

Area of the cake tin = 3.14 * (12.5cm)²
Area of the cake tin = 3.14 * 156.25cm²
Area of the cake tin = 490.625cm²

Area of the tray ÷ Area of the cake tin = number of cake tins that fit
3,000cm² ÷ 490.625cm² = 6.11 or 6 cake tins.

Only 6 cake tins Jenny can fit on the oven tray at  one time.

Make a DIALOGUE with 5 exchanges.
wel

Answer:

Dialogue writing using modal verbs.

Explanation:

Class President: Sir, may I speak with you?

Principal: Yes, you may. What do you need to talk about?

Class President: Sir, I would like to ask for your permission to organize and celebrate the upcoming Teacher's Day celebration.

Principal: That's a great idea. But will you be able to organize it by yourselves, without help from the teachers?

Class President: I think we can, Sir. We will form a committee that will focus on the event and form sub-committees on the class level to help contribute and other things.

Principal: If you can manage to do that independently, that would be great.

Class President: Thank you, Sir. We hope that we can do it successfully.

Principal: If you can do that, it would also be a great event for your teachers. And I am happy to know that the students are thinking of celebrating their teachers. It is nice to know.

Class President: Yes, Sir. So, shall I tell the other members that we can organize the event?

Principal: Yes, do that. And let me know if you need any help. And you must make sure it is a successful event.

Class President: Yes Sir. We will try to do that. Thank you, Sir.

Principal: All the very best. And I hope you can make the necessary arrangements as you need.

Class President: We will try. Thank you, Sir.

How do these two poems differ in what they emphasize?
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

B) The poet in "Old Ironsides" asks for the ship to be destroyed, while the poet in "Concord Hymn" asks that the monument stone be preserved.

Explanation:

Old Ironsides" by Oliver Wendel Holmes Sr, asks for the old ship to be destroyed or sink. We can see that the poet asks for the destruction of the ship when he says

<em>"...No more shall feel the victor's tread,</em>

<em>Or know the conquered knee;-</em>

<em>The harpies of the shore shall pluck</em>

<em>The eagle of the sea!</em>

<em> </em>

<em>O, better than her shattered hulk</em>

<em>Should sink beneath the wave;..."</em>

We can see that the old navy had its glory days, but now it is old, and it is not of use, as it was.

On the other hand, Ralph Waldo Emerson in "Concord Hymn" asks for the monument to be preserved since it is commemorating a special event. The stone monument is there to honor and remember the heroes of a battle that happened there.

We can see that the poet asks for the monument stone to be preserved when he says,

<em>"On this green bank, by this soft stream,</em>

<em>We set today a votive stone;</em>

<em>That memory may their deed redeem,</em>

<em>When, like our sires, our sons are gone.</em>

<em> </em>

<em>Bid Time and Nature gently spare</em>

<em>The shaft we raise to them and thee." </em>
