From their reactions, what are both Paul and Mitchell most concerned with right after the accident? a) whether Mitchell is injur
ivolga24 [154]

Answer: C (Whether Ghost Wind is injured).

This question is birthed from Mildred D Taylor's "The Land" novel.

Below is an excerpt that helps answer this question.

<em />

<em>The way Ghost Wind had pulled back, I feared a ligament might be torn or even his leg fractured. </em>

<em> "</em><em>He all right?</em><em>" asked Mitchell, on his feet now. </em>

<em> Without looking at him, I shook my head. "Don't know. We got to get him back to the barn." </em>

<em> "</em><em>Your daddy's gonna kill me</em><em>," he said solemnly, </em><em>yet with no fear in his voice</em><em>, just a voice of matter of fact. "Course now, my daddy get t' me first, he'll do it. Don't blame him this time if he do, though, 'cause he's gonna lose his job sure once your daddy see that horse."</em>

Immediately after the accident, Mitchell asked if Ghost Wind was alright despite he himself having been on the ground moments before. They definitely weren't concerned about Mitchell (ruling out options A and D). As a matter of fact, Mitchell had made peace with the fact that Paul's dad will kill him. Paul didn't care if he would be punished. He just wanted to get Ghost wind back to the barn (ruling out option B).

Therefore, their most concern was whether Ghostwind had injured.

When you detect your emotions beginning to dominate your judgment and actions while driving, what you should practice?
Dovator [93]

Answer: c)  Reciting law of traffic

Explanation:

According to the question, if a person finds that his/her strong emotions is taking over actions when he/she is driving , then the person should keep repeating the traffic law in mind or verbally so that he/she is able to concentrate on the driving vehicle and road.

Regulation of vehicle in correct manner can be done by keeping focus on road and vehicle so if the emotions will intrude the focus of driver then there are chances that he/she may break traffic rule or cause any accident.

Other options are incorrect because naming car construction, mind game or self modification of thought will still keep the focus of the driver hindered.Thus, the correct option is option(c).
