Mutated gene

A mistake by cellular machinery, or damage from an environmental agent such as radiation may produce a mutated gene which is a permanently altered segment of dna.

A gene mutation is a perpetual change in the DNA sequence that forms a gene which makes the sequence different from what is present in most people. Gene mutations can be classified into; hereditary mutation (changes inherited from parents) and somatic mutation (changes caused by environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation from the sun).

Which of the following chemical equations describes a hydrolysis reaction? Which of the following chemical equations describes a
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

Option C, disaccharide + H2O → monosaccharide + monosaccharide

Explanation:

In a hydrolysis reaction, the water molecule act as a chemical agent that breaks the chemical bond of a large molecule to form smaller molecules.

Disaccharide is a bigger molecule as compared to a monosaccharide. Or in other world disaccharide is twice the size of monosaccharide. Thus, in a hydrolysis process, water must react with disaccharide to produce two smaller monosaccharide.

Therefore, option C is correct.

valina [46]
If one forgets about food safety it would be a disaster and can cause food poisoning. However if one would just follow the 4 simple steps one's family can be safe from food poisoning. The steps include clean, to separate, cook then chill. In this scenario, Felicia forgets the first step which is a. clean.

Answer:

A: temperature

Explanation:

In a Viscosity lab, Temperature change affects the test of viscosity. This is because an increase in temperature leads to increase in rates of  molecules  interchanging, thus molecules moves faster with higher temperatures.
