Electron transport chain.

Explanation;

-Cellular respiration involves three different phases, namely; glycolysis, krebs cycle, and electron transport chain.

-Electron transport chain is the phase during which water is produced during cellular respiration. During electron transport chain electron carriers from glycolysis and citric acid cycle donate electrons and protons to the electron carrier proteins of the electron transport chain. Together with oxygen, electrons and protons form molecules of water. The products of the ETC is ATP , then water and carbon dioxide as byproducts.

In which thyroxine help in growth and cellular metabolism and calcitonin helps to regulates calcium concentration in blood . If thyroid gland stops working then there is low level of calcium in our blood, which leads to mental and hormonal disorder. In this way a person's blood calcium level would be affected if his/her thyroid gland stops working.
