How many prophets in islam?
Nutka1998 [239]
From prophet Adam to Prophet Muhammed, there are approximately 124 000 prophets, however, only 313 are messengers. We only have the knowledge about 25 prophets. The main prophets are the ones that brought the Torah (Prophet Musa) ,Psalms (Prophet Dawud), Gospel (Prophet Esa) and the Quraan (Prophet Muhammed). All the books above apart from the Quraan were once holy books for Muslims, however, over time many alterations have been made, only the Quraan remains unchanged. The other messengers(the ones that are 'unknown' would have been given scriptures.

inysia [295]
I think the author is suggesting a parliamentary oligarchy. Because by doing so, it allows people to have more power in choosing the right people to rule them.
