Y= 3 which would be choice A, because both equations are going to be set equal to eachother, so with that you would put
7y - 3 = 5y + 3

subtract 5y from 7y, and add the 3 from the left to the 3 on the right. this would leave you with 2y=6 so in this case you would divide both sides by two to get the answer of 3 which is choice A.

Tasya [4]
If you think about how it works when cups are stacked. you will begin with the height of the cup plus the height of the lip you would then add just the heigt of the lips until you get to the height needed. so your answer should be 19 cups

Answer:

13/102

Step-by-step explanation:

In a standard deck of 52 cards, there are 13 black spades, 13 black clubs, 13 red diamonds and 13 red hearts. There are 26 black cards in the deck of 52 cards.

Probability of drawing a black card = 26/52 = 1/2

Suppose we drew the black card. There are now only 51 cards left in the deck. ALL of the hearts are still there - 13 of them.

Probability of drawing a heart from this deck of 51 = 13/51

In general, for the probability of event A and then event B, we multiply.

1/2 x 13/51 = 13/102
