180 ÷ 3 = 60 (<em>RST</em>)

60  = 7x + 4 (<em>RT</em>)

56=7x (<em>S</em>)

\bf\boxed{{x=8}}

We see the 3 step method. In this case, we're NOT going to go all the way to a 360, because this is NOT a rectangle neither a square. So, we only go 180. Anyways, 360 by 2 = 180. it's almost the same concept.

So, like we said, the 3 step method. Plug in RTS and simplify by 180. Then, we brake it down from there.

Hi there!

We know that RST is an equilateral(all 3 sides the same length) triangle, and is therefore equiangular(all 3 angles the same value).  Therefore, angle S and is equal to one-third of the triangle's angle measure.

180/3=60

60=7x+4

56=7x

x=8

point A is at (-2,-7)and point M is at(2.5,-1.5). Point M is the midpoint of point A and point B.what are the coordinates of poi
Scrat [10]

Answer:

B (7, 4 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given endpoints (x₁, y₁ ) and (x₂, y₂ ) then the midpoint is

[ \frac{x_{1}+x_{2}  }{2} , \frac{y_{1}+y_{2}  }{2} ] ← midpoint formula

let coordinates of B = (x, y ), then using the midpoint formula, equate to each of the coordinates of M, that is

\frac{-2+x}{2} = 2.5 ( multiply both sides by 2 )

- 2 + x = 5 ( add 2 to both sides )

x = 7

\frac{-7+y}{2} = - 1.5 ( multiply both sides by 2 )

- 7 + y = - 3 ( add 7 to both sides )

y = 4

Thus

coordinates of B = (7, 4 )
