Cory is most likely suffering from a specific phobia. A specific phobia happens in triggering a person’s fears in terms with the person’s exposure to objects, things or events. What would likely happen because of this is that they would likely feel anxiety, fears and having to avoid the thing that will contribute into making the person feel afraid of it. It could be seen from Cory’s behavior as she feels an intense amount of fear because of a specific object such as flying, making her feel distress as she tries to endure it. As she experience the fear of flying, she is known to have aviophobia or also known as the aerophobia.

Answer:

The pet rock

Explanation:

After hearing friends complaining about their pets and how demanding they felt the animals were, how messy they were and so on, Gary Dahl thought he had the perfect pet to solve all those issues: a rock.
