Read the excerpt from act 2, scene 1, of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
Nina [5.8K]

The correct answer is "Brutus decides to join the conspiracy against Caesar because he fears that Caesar will become ruthless once he has absolute power. "

Explanation: The central idea of the passage is that Brutus has no doubt that Caesar will be crowned king, but he doubts that Caesar will not be corrupted once he is given power, and by this he plans to assassinate him before he rises to power, as he puts “kill him in the shell” (II.i.33–34).

Which image best supports the claim that community races are a great way to encourage people of all ages to exercise?
Lerok [7]
I would say image 2, the one with the marathon. Most marathons don't really have an age requirement. It is also more casual than a track meet like the image beside it. So elder people won't be able to run at those speeds and be that competitive. Thus the marathon is a more community oriented event. The other images aren't community events because as you can see they're just a family walking around or doing quick races.

monica paid sales tax of $1.50 when she bought a new bike helmet. If the sales tax rate was 5% ,how. much did the store charge 6
rosijanka [135]

In order to obtain the total amount that Monica was charged you should follow some steps.

How much was the net price? You can obtain this value either by clearing the x:

X * 5% = $1.50

X = $1.50 / 5%

Or by using simple rule of three:

If 5% is $1.50

Then 100% is X

So you obtain = $30

Now you just need to sum The net prices and the taxes

Net + tax = Total Charge

$30 + $1.5 = $31.5
