The correct answers are C) It tells true stories of heroes and villains and adventures and D) It promotes understanding of other cultures.

People study history because it tells true stories of heroes and villains and adventures and it promotes understanding of other cultures.

There is no other way to know what happened in the past to study history. History of our country, of our local community, even world history to learn about other people, cultures, and traditions. If we study history we will know the good things and the mistakes from the past in order to repeat the good ones and avoid the bad ones. If we do not learn from the past, we will probably repeat the mistakes in the future.
