The figures in this cartoon are Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty. Both symbolic figures of the United States and what American Culture stands for.

This cartoon tries to depict the position of the United States in regards to the current geopolitical landscape. It tries to express the idea that many social and political phenomenons are making the world a hectic place. Despite this, the United States will continue to live by its core values and represent a land where all can live free and have the security that their rights will be protected.

Figures are Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty

Uncle Sam represents the county or the government whereas Lady Liberty represents the ideals of freedom and refugee that the US included in their founding documents.

This cartoon is regarding McCarthyism suggesting everyone is being labeled a threat to the country. The last line of the cartoon says "sometimes I even think thee" suggesting even the highest rules of the country may be violating the safety of the country.

Which statement best describes germany’s overall military strategy at the beginning of world war 1
Maru [420]

Choose the statement that closely matches the point that Germany had the strongest military strength.

With the leadership of Bismarck and other more military -sided leaders, Germany was able to industrialize and build up their army until theirs was the strongest in Europe. This continued into WWII (with a short break due to the treaty of Versailles, which limited German military strength).

hope this helps
