Whats 19 divided by 5 in long division

Mathematics

19 divided by 5 would equal 3 and 4/5, or 3.8 as a decimal, because 19 goes into 5- 3 times and there is a remainder of 4. So, in long division, 19 ÷ 5= 3.8, 3 and 4/8, or 3 remainder 4. All if those are correct, though I suggest you use 3.8. Oh, and btw, I'm pretty sure this isn't high school level. Anyways, hope this helps you.

malfutka [58]
17% of 99 is 16.83. Since that's only the distance it goes in one minute we have to multiply that by 3. 16.83 × 3 = 50.49. Since the elevator is moving down then it will be negative. The answer will be -50.49 meters.
