Answer:

The correct answer is D. Both John Smith and Anne Hutchinson had disagreements with the Puritans.

Explanation:

-John Smith was an English explorer. He was one of the founders of Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in North America.

He was hired by the Virginia Company, which had been granted a royal trade and settlement patent for North America. In 1607, he sailed across the Atlantic with a small group that landed on May 13, 1607 on the less than profitable Chesapeake Bay and founded the Jamestown settlement.

-Anne Hutchinson was a Puritan figure who played an important role in the conflict that took place in the Massachusetts Bay colony between 1636 and 1638. Ann Hutchinson's strong religious beliefs were not accepted by the Puritan clergy of the colony, and her popularity and charisma helped her create a religious branch that threatened the Puritan religious experiment in New England. She was put on trial and convicted, and then expelled from the colony with many of her followers.

John Smith and Anne Hutchison were both banished because they taught against the Puritan religion.

So, they  were thought to be troublemakers and both also had disagreements with the Puritans.
