Usually, direct social workers must have at least  a bachelor's degree, but higher degree can help them move forward in their careers. I'm pretty sure its the first one.

According to my research I recently conducted, most social workers require a minimum of a bachelor's degree. However, this is based upon research I conducted, so I am not 100% positive.
