The family is the social base, all starts from there, with the unity as main need, since clearly a group of people that focus towards the same goal, tends to success in a more effective way compared to be without the support of other ones.

The cultures that placed considerable importance on the good functioning, organization, and contributions of a family, were most likely to succeed and endure in the time.

Each member of the family had a different task to do depending on their skills, so the grown men had the advantage for duties related to hunt and fishing, young men and women harvesting fruits or cooking.

This unity and organization allowed the different families and clans to be more successful due to the mutualism and help that all the members could bring to each other,  thanks to this the human and people congregations managed to survive the harsh conditions of different eras of the earth and evolve to the modern society we live on.

Which of the following is not true of the Columbia River project
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

a. Its consideration of environment impact (such as accommodation for fish) became a model for future dam projects on western rivers

Explanation:

The Columbia River project was a project of great significance for the whole region, especially for the state of Washington. This project had many positive impacts such as production of electricity, irrigation for more than half of the farmlands, development of the area, opening up new jobs. One very big problem though was the impact on the species of fish in the river. As most of them are migratory species, with the building of the dam they were stopped in their movement, thus they became restricted to the upper part of the river. Also, the water and composition of the water changed, and all of these things contributed to significant reduction of the populations of the native species of fish.

in what ways did expansion of european commerce between 1648 and 1815 represent a continuity frm the previous period
KATRIN_1 [288]

Based on historical perspective, how the expansion of European commerce between 1648 and 1815 represents continuity from the previous period include "<u>conquered lands to accommodate the growing populations</u>."

The previous period before 1648 to 1815, can be considered to be around 1500 to 1648.

This period was characterized by the growing populations of Europe, the discovery of nearby lands, improvement in trading activities among the European countries, and the accumulation of wealth, among others.

Thus, from 1648 to 1815, Europe tried to expand its trading activities and diversify its population by moving towards the west to get more gold and land resources.

This leads to the formation of imperialism of Europe in America between 1648 to, 1815 thereby continuing their previous expansion.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the expansion of European commerce between 1648 and 1815 represents continuity from the previous period in many ways.
