Active listening can help our relationships in the workplace by helping to prevent misunderstandings. true or false
olasank [31]
This is true. Active listening means you're actually paying attention to what people say and drawing conclusions from their words. If you're a passive listener, misunderstanding are more prone to happen.

STOPPING BY WOODS ON A SNOWY EVENING-
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

A. He still has a great distance left to travel.

Explanation:

Robert Frost's poem "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening" seems to talk of an unnamed traveler going through the woods on a snowy evening. And the speaker also reveals how he could not stay longer among the woods for he needs to move on.

On the surface, the poem seems like a simple poem that describes what the traveler/ speaker sees while going through the woods. And even though he'd like to stay longer and revel in the snowy scene, he couldn't. He reveals that he <em>"had promises to keep and miles to go before [he] sleep[s]"</em>. The "<em>miles</em>" could mean the distance he still needs to go. It could also mean 'life' that a person has to live before one 'sleep' forever.

Thus, the inference about the speaker's journey that best supports the poem is option A.

What would the world be like without borders, passports and immigration?
Sever21 [200]

Quite frankly, it would be a mess. Countries with out immigration would not exist. The United States itself was made by immigrants, therefore, the US wouldn't exist. Everyone would have just stayed in either Europe, Africa, or Asia, and then it would be overpopulated.
