Actually venting problems with the person may help them understand that you dont like or wont tolerate his or her behavior and can help understand not to do it in the future with other peers. It's never good to be shy and scared please speak up.

It is not healthy to respond to conflict in avoidance. When a problem first occurs when our emotions go up, our intelligence tends to go down, so it is best to wait a while if you feel you are not coming from a neutral place. But conflicts should always be effectively communicated and addressed to sustain healthy relationships.

sveticcg [70]

Answer:

c. Odysseus is religious and he believes in the power of the gods.

Explanation:

Homer's epic narrative "The Odyssey" tells the story of the king of Ithaca, Odysseus, who had been away from home for more than two decades. It narrates the journey of the king and his men, the hardships they endure and the various traps and obstacles they had to overcome.

The excerpt in the question shows when Odysseus and his men had taken the sheep of the cyclops in Book IX. They had just got away from the wrath of Polyphemus whose eye he had hurt, along with stealing things from him. But he also make it a point to offer sacrifices to the gods, especially Zeus who was lord over all. Even though "Zeus disdained [my] offering; destruction for [my] ships he had in store and death for those who sailed them, [my] companions", Odysseus did not waver in his reverence for the gods. This shows his religious nature, his faith in the gods and belief in their power.

Duty, Honor, Country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. The
Ulleksa [173]

The verb dictate means to give an order that must be obeyed. From the excerpt, we can assume that the words duty, honor, and country should be our guidelines. The ideas behind those words must be followed, for they tell us what we ought to be, what we can be, what we will be.

The verb dictate could also mean to speak or read to a person. In this excerpt, however, that meaning does not apply.
