1 and 2/3 or 1 2/3 expressed as a decimal is, 1.666667. How I got this answer is:

1 2/3 is a mixed fraction, so what I do to convert that into an improper fraction(the numerator is a higher number than the denominator or equal to the denominator) is I multiply the whole number, 1, by the denominator and the add the numerator so, 1 * 2 = 2. Then, 2 + 3 which equals 5. Also, the denominator stays the same so the improper fraction would be, 5/3. To convert an improper fraction to a decimal you just divide the numerator by the denominator. Therefore, the answer is 1.666667!

1 is expressed in decimal simply as 1.00
23/100 is expressed in decimal by 0.23

1 is a whole number and for it to become a decimal we must convert it into a fraction and perform division. 1 in fraction form is simply 1/1 which equals to 1.

23/100 to become decimal we need to divide 23 by 100. It will give us a quotient of 0.23

Answer:

0.013

Step-by-step explanation:

Use binomial probability:

P = nCr pʳ (1−p)ⁿ⁻ʳ

where n is the number of trials,

r is the number of successes,

and p is the probability of success.

Given n = 6, p = 0.69, and r = 0 or 1:

P = ₆C₀ (0.69)⁰ (1−0.69)⁶⁻⁰ + ₆C₁ (0.69)¹ (1−0.69)⁶⁻¹

P = (1) (1) (0.31)⁶ + (6) (0.69) (0.31)⁵

P = 0.013

Setler [38]
Since the family spends ten minutes on average per shower and there is 2.5 gallons spent per minute, 25 gallons are used per shower and with 4 shows per day, 100 gallons are used per day, so in 30 days they use 3,000 gallons of water, since water costs $1.50 per 1000 gallons, showering only costs them $4.50 per month
