This kind of law is not followed in any other country. Other countries have set an age limit with regards to retirement of their Judges. Giving power to be judge of Supreme Court of United states, Gives power to them to take any decision in favour of people without any political pressure. But a lot has changed from 18th century as when this constitution was made and this clause of appointment of judges of Supreme Court in United States, The life Expectancy during that period was 50 years for white men as compared to current period where life expectancy of white men is 79 years which is growth of nearly three decades.
