Answer:

How did dominating the Philippines benefit Spain?

Explanation:

Dominating the Philippines benefited Spain because missionaries from the Philippines attempted to spread Christianity to China and Japan. They also were a key link in Spain’s overseas trading empire which helped Spain ship silver to Mexico and Peru and bought goods from China.

Spain and Portugal were bound by the Treaty of Tordesillas, so the Spanish had to sail westward and travel through the Americas to get to the Pacific and finally the Philippines. It is also their only direct access -- meaning without going through intermediaries -- to the east Indies, as all other parts were to be the domain of the Portuguese. Further, as Spain faced increasing competition from their rivals the English, Dutch, French in the Atlantic world, their Pacific route was inaccessible to these rivals until much later.

What was an unintended consequence of bacons rebellion?
dezoksy [38]

Answer: The biggest effect of Bacon's Rebellion was that labor in Virginia and neighboring Colonies turned away from using indentured servants and began to use slaves

Thus, as a result of Bacon's Rebellion, large Virginia planters began importing slaves from Africa. The number of indentured servants was declining in the late 17th century so Virginia planters may have turned to African slavery anyway but at the very least Bacon accelerated the process.
