Sample Response: The Cyclops is angry that Odysseus, a weak and tiny man, was able to blind him and trick him. To make matters worse, Odysseus has no regrets, and he does not apologize even though the Cyclops offers to treat him well if he returns. Instead, Odysseus insults Cyclops more than once during his escape. Cyclops knows that the gods have power over men's lives, and this is his only opportunity for revenge. Thus, he is motivated to seek revenge against Odysseus.

vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The statement that best describes this excerpt is "Most of the sentences have a similar structure". Most of the sentences that integrate this excerpt have a similar structure because <u>all of them, except for the first one, begin with the determiner "her"</u>. Moreover, <u>most of them have a noun as head of the subject</u>. For example, in sentences 3, 4, 5 and 6, the heads are "cause", "principles", "temper" and "conduct" respectively. Furthermore, <u>most of the sentences have a subject complement</u>. In the case of sentence 2, 3, 4 and 5, the subject complements are "unclouded and promising", "good", "just and liberal" and "serene and firm" respectively. Therefore, the structure of most of the sentences in this excerpt is Subject + Verb + Subject Complement.

According to lady Macbeth’s plan how will the king be killed
AVprozaik [17]
Well, Lady Mcbeth plots that she'll wait for King Duncan to go to bed because he'll be tired and then she will make sure to give the guards enough wine to sleep heavily so that they won't see/protect Duncan, that way Macbeth can sneak past and kill Duncan with the Guard's two daggers and once Duncans dead he will place the daggers near the guards so that they are accused-all of this in effort to become king
