A proper fraction is a fraction such as 3/5, or 2/4, any fraction where the numerator is less than the denominator. Then it says "the whole is divided into an even number of equal parts, and an odd number of those parts exists." Such as 1 3/5. From my understanding, you then divide by 2, which would give you 0.8, which could then be turned into 0.4 if that's what your teacher wants you to do. In the end, there will be no odd number.

I need help please! If you can’t see the picture well I can’t just type it out for ya :-)

Answer:

y = 3/2x

Step-by-step explanation:

Now, second limit first.

If 2 lines are parallel, they have the same slope. That narrows it down to the last 2 options.

(2,3) means y must be 3 when x is 2. Let's try number 3.

3/2 * x

3/2 * 2

3

It fits!

O is the centroid. Find the value of x. (Sorry if u cant see the photo :/, but this is Geometry btw)
klemol [59]

Answer: x = 6

==============================================

Explanation:

The medians of a triangle meet up at the centroid in such a way that they cut each other at a ratio of 2:1, meaning that one part of the median is twice as long as the other. In this case, MO is two times longer than OP, so,

OP = 2*MO

and

MP = MO + OP

MP = MO + 2*MO .... replace OP with 2*MO

MP = 3*MO

9x-24 = 3*(x+4) ... plug in the given expressions

9x-24 = 3x+12

9x-3x = 12+24

6x = 36

x = 36/6

x = 6

If 420 = 120%, what would 100% equal?
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

350

Step-by-step explanation:

Introduction. Percent, p%

'Percent (%)' means 'out of one hundred':

p% = p 'out of one hundred',

p% is read p 'percent',

p% = p/100 = p ÷ 100

120% = 120/100 = 120 ÷ 100 = 1.2

100% = 100/100 = 100 ÷ 100 = 1

Percentage of 120% of what number = 420?

120% × ? = 420

? =

420 ÷ 120% =

420 ÷ (120 ÷ 100) =

(100 × 420) ÷ 120 =

42,000 ÷ 120 =

350

Proof

How do we check the result?

If 120% × 350 = 420 =>

Divide 420 by 350...

... And see if we get as a result: 120%

Note:

Multiply a number by the fraction 100/100,

... and its value doesn't change.

100/100 = 100 ÷ 100 = 1

n/100 = n%, any number.

Find a vector equation for the line segment from (2, −3, 8) to (4, 4, 7). (use the parameter t.)
sasho [114]
Let P = (2,-3,8) and Q =(4,4,7)

The parametric equation of a line is given by
(x,y,z) = t*(xv,yv,zv) + (x0,y0,z0) where

(xv,yv,zv) is the direction vector PQ which is Q-P => PQ = (4-2, 4-(-3),7-8 ) = (2,7,-1)

And (x0,y0,z0) is any point in the line (for example Q)

So, (x,y,z) = (2t +4 , 7t +4, -t+7)
