B. They promote policies that support their beliefs.

Special interest groups in politics are also known as "advocacy groups" or "lobbying groups." They have a particular area of interest or policies that they'd like to see in place in the government. So they will spend a lot of money and effort seeking to convince those in government to adopt policies that are aligned with the interests or priorities of the interest group. The National Rifle Association (NRA) would be an example of a powerful lobbying group of this sort. So also would be Greenpeace, which is an environmental interest group. There are many interest groups supporting many different causes or concerns.

Whose resignation from the Nixon administration was not a result of Watergate?
Crazy boy [7]

Spiro Agnew's was not a result of Watergate.

President Richard Nixon's administration in the United States from 1972 to 1974 was embroiled in the massive political controversy known as "Watergate," which forced Nixon to resign. The scandal was caused by the Nixon administration's persistent efforts to hide its role in the June 17, 1972 break-in at the DNC headquarters at the Watergate Office Building in Washington, D.C.

The cash discovered on the five criminals at the time of their arrest was linked to the Committee for the Re-Election of the President by the media and the U.S. Justice Department. The U.S. House of Representatives granted expanded investigative jurisdiction to the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary after new investigations and revelations made during the burglars' later trials to inquire on "some things within its purview" and prompted the formation of the U.S. Senate's Watergate Committee.

The subsequent Senate Watergate hearings sparked popular attention and were broadcast "gavel-to-gavel" on PBS across the country. There was a voice-activated recording system in the Oval Office, according to witnesses, and Nixon approved plans to hide his administration's involvement in the break-in. Nixon's administration rejected the investigation's inquiries throughout, which caused a constitutional crisis.

How did “spa” philosophers attempt to understand humans:??
grin007 [14]
The term SPA above refers to the three well-known Philosophers and they are Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. And according to these Philosophers, what they did in attempting to understand humans was only by observing them. How they understood human behavior is by observing how humans behave given different circumstances and their attitudes toward these. Hope this helps.

What’s one thing that helped catapult America to a world superpower after world war ll ?
andrey2020 [161]

The 1898 Treaty of Paris ending the war gave Cuba its independence and also ceded important Spanish possessions to the United States—notably Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and the small island of Guam. The United States was suddenly a colonial power with overseas dependencies.
