Optimism, or looking at positive, can give us hope even when it seems hopeless. Optimism can be motivation to get through something, because the positive outlook is a different perspective. :)
Some qualities would be to have strength - to hold the hose and to carry all of that heavy equipment, to have speed, accuracy, and precision, good eyesight, and good hearing would be some positive qualities.
