Write in brief about the influence of religion during the Mauryan and Gupta empire
liraira [26]

Answer:

"The main religions of the Maurya and Gupta empires were Hinduism, Buddihsm, and Jainism. The Mauryans had been Buddhists and the Gupta monarchs were Hindus. Ashoka, Chandragupta's grandson was Buddhist but did not force Buddhism on the people. During this time, religious toleration was in order." I don't know if this helps but I hope it does. This isn't my answer either, all credits belong to https://globalprogect.weebly.com/religion.

. Why do you think it is important that peace is not “forced upon the loser”?
Levart [38]

As this can make the "loser" feel bitter and want to take revenge. Just like with the Germans, and it brought a lot of bad things to people and the way they dealt with it. Peace should be a common agreement, at no time should it be forced.
