Answer:

Volume of the stack book is given by:

V = A \cdot h        .....[1]

where

V is the volume of the stack book.

A is the area of the stack book and

h is the height of the stack.

As per the statement:

The area of each book is 63 square inches.. The height of the stack is 15.75 inches.

⇒ Area of book(A) = 63 square inches.

and height(h) = 15.75 inches.

then;

substitute these in [1] we have;

V = 63 \cdot 15.75= 992.25 cubic inches.

Therefore, volume of the stack of books is 992.25 cubic inches

At the local ballpark, the team charges $5 for each ticket and expects to make $1,500 in consessions. The team must pay its play
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

  B - 1100 tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

Fixed costs appear to be ...

  $2,200 +1,500 = $3,700

The amount of cost that is not covered by concession income is ...

  $3,700 -1500 = $2,200 . . . . remaining cost

The contribution margin per ticket is apparently ...

  $5 -3 = $2

So, the number of tickets that must be sold to cover the remaining cost is ...

  $2200/($2/ticket) = 1100 tickets
