The Great Depression made those who were middle class poorer, and the poor class poor. Some rich class people started to lose money, however, (i think) many still kept some of their wealth.
The poor and middle class people were impacted the most however, as they first lost jobs, (because the owners of their industry want to save more money) With that, because they couldn't pay rent or taxes, etc, The middle class lost their dwelling places. This created a large amount of unemployed people that Franklin D. Roosevelt needed to help by creating jobs for them.
