Tonya's is correct because the given values fir her equation

point (1,6)

left side = y-6 = 6-6 = 0
right side : 3(1-1) = 0

point (3,12)
left = 12-6 = 6
right = 3(3-1) = 6

Write the slope intercept form of each equation of the line. Use a fraction for slope if needed.
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

y=-x+6

Step-by-step explanation:

Start by graphing y=-x+5. Then mark the point (2,4) for easier reference. A parallel line just has the same slope, so if you make another line with the same slope, and change the y-intercept until the line goes through (2,4), you will have the answer.

Which can the medians of a triangle intersect- 1. inside the triangle 2. on the triangle 3 outside the triangle
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

 1. inside the triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Except for their endpoints, all the points of every median are inside the triangle. The endpoints of each median are different from those of any other, so there will be no point of intersection there.

The medians can only intersect inside the triangle.
