and then answer the questions for each using complete sentences. Step 1: Read this quote “A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure permanently half-slave and half-free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved--- I do not expect the house to fall--- but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other.” Step 2: Answer these questions Does Lincoln think that we can continue to have some slave states and some free states? Which sentence tells you how he felt about this? Tell me about a historic event that supports Lincoln’s point of view on this: Step 3: Read this quote “I believe that the Union can only be preserved by maintaining inviolate the Constitution of the United States as our fathers have made it. That constitution guarantees to the people of every State the right o have slavery or not have it… each State being left free to decide for itself. The framers of that constitution… well understood that each one of the thirteen States had distinct and separate interests, and required distinct and separate local laws and local institutions.” Step 4: Answer these questions Does Douglas think we can continue to have some slave states and some free states? Ok so step 2, Does Lincoln think that we can continue to have some slave states and some free states. Lincoln wanted freedom in ALL states. he wanted to abolish slavery and he was against it. He knows that there cannot be a agreement so he says I believe this government cannot endure permanently half-slave and half-free. he he says he doesn't think the government has a say so in this even though he wants all free states.

Does Douglas think we can continue to have some slave states and some free states?
he's saying that each State being left free to decide for itself. SO in other words, he says that it's shouldn't be up to the gov, but up to the states.

i don't really know much about the part where is says. Tell me about a historic idea that supports Douglas’ point of view on this. but i hope that was some help, let me know if u have questions.

A teacher saves P5,000 every 6 months in the bank that pays 0.25% compounded monthly. How much will be her savings after 10 ears
Kazeer [188]

Answer: $101,197

Explanation:

First find the periodic interest rate for 6 months because the rate is per year.

= 0.25% / 2

= 0.125%

There are 2 semi annual periods in a year so in 10 years:

= 2 * 10

= 20 periods

Use future value of annuity formula:

= Amount * ((1 + rate)^periods - 1) / rate

= 5,000 * (( 1 + 0.125%) ²⁰ - 1) / 0.125%

= $101,196.45

= $101,197
