When you are pulling out of an alley, private road, driveway, or parking lot and must cross a sidewalk to enter a roadway;?
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer: You must stop and remain stopped for pedestrians and bicyclists on the sidewalk.

Explanation:

The driver of a vehicle that is emerging from an alley, driveway, or parking lot toward a roadway, has to stop immediately before driving onto a sidewalk where pedestrians and bicyclists might be. Drivers have to provide enough room for any pedestrian to evade an accident. Then, they can pull out carefully, as long as they pay attention to the traffic and wait for a safe gap.

Directions: The following is a free response question released by the
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

In a perfectly competitive market, J&P Company would be too small to have any influence in the price or output or the market. In other words, J&P Company would have no market power whatsoever.

Explanation:

For this reason, both price and output would be determined by exogenous variables to the company, namely, the forces of supply and demand, which in perfect competition can work without any interference, meaning that they produce the best outcome for society as a whole.

Demand is determined by consumers' willingness to pay, while supply is determined by marginal production costs. The point where supply and demand meet is the equilibrium price, at which supply and demand are equal.

Though none of the religion teaches wrong, why do people involve in immoral work? Answer logically.
Rudiy27
Most of the time is because people believe their religion is the “true” religion or the correct one to follow. This leads to immoral actions like forcing your religion upon others who don’t believe in the same beliefs as you. This can also spark other immoral actions that can harm others because you believe that they have lost the touch between your religion and that they must be punished for not agreeing or having the same beliefs as you.

Why was dr. barbara joans asked to serve as an expert witness in the trial of six bannock-shoshoni women?
irina [24]
Dr. Barbara Joans was an anthropologist who understood that language and cultural differences can completely change the understanding between two groups of people. The six elderly Native American Bannock and Shoshoni women who were charged with fraud and asked to pay back $2,000, did not fully comprehend what the Social Services Administration in their area was asking of them. English was not their first language and the way that their culture worked was different than the one of the Social Services. Dr. Joans was able to point out that they were not trying to defraud the Social Services, but did not understand. The judge agreed with Dr. Jones and from then on an interpreter had to be present to explain in the individuals first language what was expected.
