This is better suited to the Mathematics section. The formula for this is V(olume) = L(ength) x H(eight) x W(idth). V = 120 in^3. W = 6 in. H = 10 in. W x H = 60 in. 120 divided by 60 = 2. The length of the box is 2 inches. This can be proven through substitution:
120 = 6 x 10 x 2.
120 = 60 x 2.
120 = 120.
