THE QUESTION:Describe how Marco Polo became an explorer.

MY ANSWER:  Well, there have been a lot of questions raised about the accuracy and veracity of Marco's claims and just how far he actually traveled, but he first became a traveler in the East because his father and uncle were traders there. So, I assume Marco started after following his father, and uncles footsteps.
