To get Fractions equal, you can multiply the fraction By any number you want: (a/b) = k.(a/b)

So multiply 3/5 by 3: (3/5).3 = 9/15
Multiply it by 2: 2.(3/5) = 6/10

3/5 = 9/15 = 6/10 = 0.6

Hope this Helps! :)

A surf instructor has an initial fee of $12 and charges $8 per hour for lessons.
12345 [234]
Simple...

You have: The surf instructor has an initial fee of $12 anything after that is $8 per hour...

Using y=mx+b (Where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept)

y=8x+12

As we can see the y-intercept is located at (0,12)

If we wanted to actually see the graph then plug in some points for your graph-->>>

y=8(1)+12 (x=1)

y=8+12

y=20

(1,20)

y=8(2)+12 (x=2)

y=16+12

y=28

(2,28)

y=8(3)+12 (x=3)

y=24+12

y=36

(3,36)

So on and so forth....

Thus, your answer.

Find the median of the data set: -66, -48, -52, -42
olga2289 [7]
-66, -52, - 48, -42

If you can have 2 medians (since there is only 4 numbers), it is -52 and -48

If you can only have one,then i believe you choose -50, because it is in between -48 and -52

hope this helps

If the mass of two objects is increased, what is the effect on the force between them?
almond37 [142]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula used for this type of question is

F = \frac{Gm_1m_2}{r^2}

so as long as you don't change anything else (like r), changing m will increase the force. Both of the last 2 answers look like they might be feasible, but they are not. The attraction increases.

So the answer is A
