Work:

Times by ten to get ten times as much as 2000

2000 × 10 = 20000

Since it's one tenth of something, gotta times it by ten again to get the full number (ten tenths)

20000 × 10 = 200000

Answer:

ten times as much as 2000 (20000) is one tenth of 200000

How much will each person get if 4 people share 1/2 pound of grapes equally
dsp73
Divide amount of grapes by number of people.

= 1/2 lb ÷ 4 people

to divide a fraction, multiply by the reciprocal (inverse)

= 1/2 * 1/4
= (1*1)/(2*4)
= 1/8 pound

ANSWER: Each of the 4 people will get 1/8 pound of grapes.

Hope this helps! :)

When two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal, the same-side exterior angles are supplementary. That means that their sum is 180.

Using that logic, if the two roads were parallel, then the sum of their same-side exterior angles will add up to 180. Yet their same-side exterior angles add up to 170 (130 + 40 = 170), hence they can't be parallel.

See the drawing attached below.

Using supplmenatry angles (two angles whose sum of measures add up to 180 or a straight line), we can say that:

m<DIE + m<HID = 18

40 + m<HID = 180

m<HID = 140

Similarly:

m<BHC + m<CHI = 180

130 + m<CHI = 180

m<CHI = 50

Using verticle angles therome, (when two lines intersect, the angles opposite to eachother are congruent, or have the same measure), we can say that:

m<DIE = m<GIH = 40

m<GIE = m<HID = 140

m<CHI = m<AHB = 50

m<BHC = m<AHI = 130

The diameter of a basketball rim is 18 inches. A standard basketball has a circumference of 30 inches. What is the distance betw
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Diameter of the basketball rim = 18 inches

Circumference of the standard basketball = 30 inches

Area of circle = π r²

Basketball rim = 3.14 * (18/2)² = 3.14 * 9² = 3.14 * 81 = 254.34 in²

Circumference of a circle = 2 π r

30 = 2 * 3.14 * r

r = 30 / (2*3.14) = 30 / 6.28 = 4.78 inches

Standard basketball = 3.14 * (4.78)² = 3.14 * 22.85 = 71.75 in²

254.34 - 71.75 = 182.59 in²

Triangle RST is rotated 90° in a clockwise direction. What is the name of the image after the rotation?
Art [367]
When the triangle RST is rotated by <span>90° in a clockwise direction, the name of the image after the rotation would be SRT.

The reason you get a name like this is because you're not only rotating the triangle, you also rotating the letters along with the image.
