The correct answer is B. Spatial

Explanation:

Spatial organization, also referred to as descriptive writing, is a type of organization pattern that organizes the information in a text according to the space, this type of organization is mainly used to describe the way a place is or looks, in this way, the reader can have a mental image of a specific setting or scenario. Additionally, this type of organization can be recognized as the author or narrator focuses on providing details about the space in an organized way.

This type of organization can be seen in the excerpt from Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi as the author describes a setting or scenario in which there is a river by organizing the information according to the location elements have in reference to the river which is shown in the use of words such as "broad expanse of the river", "in the middle distance", "in one place", "the surface", "spot", "high above" and "over the whole scenery that takes the reader from one section of the place to the other in an organized way and by providing details about each section of the scenario which is the purpose of spatial organization.

The type of organization pattern that is most clearly used in this excerpt of Mark Twain’s “Life in the Mississippi is spatial. Option B is correct.

A writer can use many patterns when organizing his/her ideas. The specific pattern (or combination of patterns) chosen depends on the specific topic and the objectives the writer has identified for the document.

A spatial pattern of organization present the information in accordance with how things are organized in physical space, or the relation of the things described in a physical location.

In this excerpt, phrases such as: a broad expanse of the river, in the middle distance, one place a long, in another the surface gives us the hint that it is a spatial organization.

In at least one hundred words, describe how the eerie mood of Dickinson's "Because I could not stop for Death" is created in the
zheka24 [161]
The eerie mood is created initially because of the subject matter of the poem. The character of Death is introduced in the first stanza, and since the 'd' is capitalized, it's clear that Dickinson is personifying death into an actual person. Thinking about Death in this way, as someone who stops to pick you up and having to get into his carriage to take the ride away from life is creepy in itself. This eeriness is supported when she uses the line "The dews grew quivering and chill." The words quivering and chill help to strengthen the eeriness that the subject matter creates. She also refers to the setting sun, which again helps give the poem an overall spooky feeling.

Which statement from "The Lakota Music Project Hopes to Connect People through Music" most likely describes the author’s posit
lisov135 [29]

The statement from "The Lakota Music Project Hopes to Connect People through Music" that most likely describes the author's position towards the Lakota Music Project is:

D. "The Lakota Music Project's focus remains on building bridges through music."

  • Statements B and C about the Lakota Music Project do not convey opinions (positions).
  • They are about facts concerning the Indianist movement and the project: when the movement flourished, and when themes for the concerts of the project were established.
  • Statement A does convey an opinion, but it is not the author's. As a matter of fact, the author makes it very clear that what is being said is "[f]rom the Lakota point of view."
  • With that in mind, the only option we can choose is letter D. This statement is likely expressing the author's view and position towards the project.

The answer choices for this question are the following:

A. "From the Lakota point of view, however, the 'Indianist' movement represents cultural appropriation, or inappropriate adoption of customs."

B. "It flourished in the early 20th century as American composers based works on Native American themes."

C. "The first Lakota Music Project tour, in 2009, established themes for the concerts."

D. "The Lakota Music Project's focus remains on building bridges through music."
