Mesopotemian civilization were one of the first people who thrived with agriculture, right there with Egyptians pharaos and the Indus valley people. If we check the geographic location of each one of these people, you will notice that their lands are full of rivers and good soil. In Egypt there's the Nile river, in modern day Iraq, which is where mesopotemia existed, there are 2 main rivers that proved to be essential for the rise of agriculture in the ancient middle east.
I hope this answers your question, and I am at your service if you have any other inquiry about history.

Answer:

sufficient water and  warm climate

Explanation:

Thousands of years ago, farmers discovered this rich soil and moved into the valleys. With the warm climate, rich soil, and sufficient water, the lives of farmers became less difficult. With more settled lives, these early men had time to learn how to write, to trade, to use metal, and to live in villages. Mesopotamia means the land between the rivers or the land between two rivers. Ancient Mesopotamia was located between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. You could find the area today if you were to visit the present-day Middle Eastern country of Iraq. Seasonal flooding was an early difficulty for the area farmers, but they soon rose to the challenge and controlled the flooding rivers by channeling the overflow. By doing this, they were able to produce crops like barley, wheat, flax, and sesame.
