Seismic waves are the wave form of energy that travels through the earth’s layer and they are produced as a result of earthquake, magma movement, volcanic eruptions, land slides and large man- made explosions.
There are two types of seismic waves: body waves and surface waves. Body waves travel through the interiors of the earth. Surface waves travels only through the interface between earth and the atmosphere.

Cells are always known to be the building blocks of life or the basic unit of life. It constitutes cytoplasm inside a membrane with which comprise biomolecules like nucleic acids and proteins. A cell has 3 major functions. One of these functions is to transport molecules. Since cell membrane acts as barriers to molecules, it should transport the molecules it needs. This transport can either be passive or active. Another cell function is to reproduce. Cell hast to reproduce to replace those that die. The last function is to convert energy. Through cellular respiration, cells produce energy.  The absolute source of energy of all living organisms is the adenosine triphosphate or ATP.
