Explanation:

Carbon cycle - It is defined as the process in which the carbon moves form the atmosphere into the living organism and the Earth and then back to the atmosphere. For example plants take carbon dioxide to prepare the food. Animals eat the plants and then carbon dioxide is stored in them or released in the form of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Nitrogen cycle - It is defined as the process in which nitrogen is converted into different chemical forms as it circulates among terrestrial and marine ecosystem and the atmosphere. For example nitrogen present in the soil are absorbed by the plants through its roots which comes in the form of ions. Nitrogen is reduced to nitrite ions, when absorbed the plants. Further it becomes ammonium ions which can be incorporated into amino or nucleic acid.

Hydrological cycle - It is defined as the continuous movement of water below, above and on the earth. For example water at the Earth's surface evaporates into the atmosphere. Moisture moves around the earth with weather pattern, and rain and snow condenses from it.

Which of the following statements about the cladogram of animals is true?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer: The correct option is c. Segmentation evolved more than once in different branches of the cladogram.

Phylogenetic studies help to identify and understand evolutionary relationship between different life forms. It uses a diagram called as Cladogram to represent the branching of the evolutionary relationships. In cladogram studies each branching point tells a fundamental character of the evolutionary significance. Cladogenesis separates the gene pool by splitting into two or more than two separate pools each of which gives rise to one or more new species. Segmentation implies repeated parts and many animals consist of such repeated parts. Therefore, segmentation appears more than once in different cladogram branches.

All the energy in oil, gas, and coal originally came from the sun, captured through photosynthesis. In the same way that we burn wood to release energy that trees capture from the sun, we burn fossil fuels to release the energy that ancient plants captured from the sun.
