The synthesis of the organic molecules in the primitive atmosphere would have favored because it was reducing and exhibited sources of energy in the form of UV radiation and lightning.

The biggest constituent of the primitive atmosphere was carbon dioxide, succeeded by hydrogen and nitrogen with almost nil oxygen. This atmosphere resulted mainly from the gases discharged due to cooling of the molten plant and at the time of volcanic eruptions.

One of the most common methods of differentiating between early hominid stages of human evolution is through examining what?
REY [17]

The early hominid stages can be differentiated from one another based on the complexity of the tools used by these species. The tool evolved along with the evolution of the humans. The more the hominids evolved by more complex their tools became.  The tools made by the earliest hominids were used to fish out the termites. These tool developed and became more widely used as the humans evolved.

Hence, the answer is 'by observing the complexity of the tools'.

When the acetyl-CoA produced during -oxidation in the liver exceeds the capacity of the citric acid cycle, the excess acetyl-Co
Oliga [24]

Answer:

There is a need to transform the accumulation of acetyl-CoA into the ketone bodies, as one knows that acetyl-CoA is both labile and possess an enormous amount of energy. Hence, acetyl-CoA due to its unstable characteristic is not ideal for circulation within the tissues, and at the same time, the compound acetyl-CoA does not possess the tendency to pass through the cell membrane.

Due to these reasons, the conversion of acetyl-CoA into the ketone bodies is done, the ketone bodies also act as an alternative source of energy. The ketone bodies work as water-soluble correspondents of fatty acids. The production of ketone bodies generally takes place within the liver cells' mitochondrial matrix. The three forms of ketone bodies are beta-hydroxybutyrate, acetoacetate, and acetone.

The production of ketone bodies by the liver cells helps the cells of the brain at the time of starvation, as the brain cannot use fatty acids as an energy source, as the fatty acids cannot pass through the blood-brain barrier.
