When climbing a hill or mountain, there are different condions which the body reacts to, first: the body begins to exercise, since it must carry all our weight when climbing up a hill, this generates that the heart accelerates and pumps the blood more quickly so that it reaches our whole body out, and the second one, is that at a higher height, less oxygen, if already, our body comes with the heart shaken by the physical exercise, now it has to accelerate your breathing to get the necessary oxygen for the blood and the body, these two things make us breathe heavily.

Answer:

There are two answers that explain this question: Pressure and oxygen

Explanation:

When someone lives in a place, it normally produces red blood cells onto a certain quantity, and this quantity is enough for the body at that place. But when Jon goes hiking up in a hill, there's less oxygen for him to breath, so he starts having problems to breath, and he feels it's heavier than before. The pressure too changes, not that much, but it does, and both of these combined, red blood cells are not produced as they should be, the body needs to adapt to a new environment, and that why that happens.

Veronica wrote Charles Darwin’s main points on the board, but she made a mistake in one point.
Leno4ka [110]

The question above is incomplete, the remaining part of the question is given below:
1. Since more offspring are produced than an environment can support, organisms within a population must compete for resources to survive.

2. Due to variations within the population, some competitors will be better equipped for survival than others.

3. The best-equipped organisms will survive and will produce well-equipped offspring.

4. Variations that help with survival will be passed on to future generations and will rapidly change the whole population.

Which point is flawed as written above?
A. point 1
B. point 2
C. point 3
D. point 4

ANSWER

The correct option is D.

All the options written above about Darwin's theory are quite correct with the exception of option D. Charles Darwin was the scientist who proposed the theory of evolution by mean of natural selection. Darwin submitted that, due to the scarcity of needed resources in an environment, it is only the fittest individuals in a particular population that will be able to survive and produce offspring that share their adaptability features. As this continue from generation to generation, it leads to evolution, which is defined as the changes overtime, which give rise to new species that share a common ancestors. Contrary to the point made in option D, evolution by natural selection is not a rapid process at all, it is a process that occur over a long period of time.
