What is a search engine and how is it different from a browser?

Computers and Technology

A search engine is a tab where you can input keywords to find certain data in the internet. An example of a search engine would be Google or Yahoo. If you type in google "images of a turtle," it would search the entire internet for an image of a turtle then send it to you. Search engines are different than browsers because browsers are the tool to open up google aka the search engine itself, then you can proceed to search up what you want.

Reptile [31]

The true statement regarding the two (2) bitmap images is: C. Image 1 is sharper and has a larger file size than image 2.

What is a bitmap image?

A bitmap image or bitmap image file (BIF) is also referred to as a raster graphic and it is generally made up of bits or dots that are called pixels.

Additionally, it is dependent on the resolution (size) of an image file and as such it becomes blurry when enlarged.

In this scenario, image 1 would become sharper and larger in size than image 2 when the original bitmap image files are increased by 25 percent.
