Proteins are formed by linking basic building blocks together. These building blocks are called 'amino-acids', and there are ~20

different kinds of amino-acids. Each has a characteristic structure, which you should review in your Freeman textbook. Once you've done that, put the following parts of the enzyme-forming process in order as best you can. Like any pre-lab, the purpose of this question is not to give you a hard exam but rather to guide your reading of the lab report and background materials. The second step is:

The question was incomplete but I managed to found it some other source. Please find that in the attached picture.

Answer:

<u>The earliest step: </u>

Formation of amino-acid building blocks

<u>The second step: </u>

Joining amino-acids into a polymer like beads on a string (this order is the 'primary structure')

<u>The third step:</u>

The first part of the protein folds due to side-chain and backbone interactions

<u>The fourth step</u>:

The final protein tertiary structure is completed with the addition and folding of the last parts of the protein.

<u>The last of these steps:</u>

The enzymatic function is possible due to the completed tertiary structure creating an 'active site' region of the protein.

Altered reciprocal inhibition <span>is caused by a tight agonist muscle decreasing the neural drive to its functional antagonist. Altered reciprocal inhibition changes the relationships of force pairs, resulting in equal superiority, resulting in further non-functioning patterns in movement, muscle control on a neurological level, and specifically malfunction of joints. </span>

If you cant prove a hypothesis, then how do scientist learn?
bearhunter [10]
Hypotheses must be provable. If scientists cannot prove a "hypothesis" right or wrong, they need to change it to a legitimate hypothesis - something you can prove.

If it is proven wrong, they can change certain aspects of it to make a more specific experiment.

Which of these acts as a second messenger? which of these acts as a second messenger? cyclic amp g protein adenylyl kinase g-pro
forsale [732]

Answer;

Cycilc AMP

Explanation;

-Second messengers are molecules that relay signals received at receptors on the cell surface; such as the arrival of protein hormones, growth factors, etc., to target molecules in the cytosol and/or nucleus.

-Many of the chemical messengers such as hormones, that transmit messages from one cell to another never enter the target cell, these molecules are known as first messengers which work by binding to a specific receptor on the cell surface. The receptor then stimulates or inhibits the production of a so-called second messenger within the cell.

-The second messenger are small molecules such as Cyclic AMP, which activate an effector within a cell.
